7/22/08 - Congrats to Len Sklerov on the wedding of his oldest son, Matt. Congrats to Bob DeRosa on the wedding of his oldest son, Mike. Bob's younger son gets married next week. Congrats to Len Berkowitz on becoming a grandpa. Congrats to Jeff Brook, as well. His son, Scott recently married.

8/10/07 - Another Mini Reunion took place in NYC when Bobbi Shulman met up with Steve & Ellie Rosen, Jerry Schulman, Mike and Ruthann Solomon. Bobbi had not seen Steve Rosen in 40 years.

6/18/07 - On Wed. June 13th, 12 members got together in Soho (NYC) for dinner. Attending were Maddy and Richie Schecter, Linda and Richard Pront, Sue and Len Sklerov, Gail and Howie Baker, Ruthann and Mike Solomon, Jerry Schulman and Mike Feiler.

4/01/07 - The HOB Reunion was held in Las Vegas on Thursday, March 22. Thirty two people attended (included spouses). It was quite a heart-warming and memorable experience. At the last minute Bob DeRosa flew in to our surprise. For the complete itinerary CLICK HERE

7/1/06 - Added Skype (Internet Telephone and Chat) to our website. Go to the bulletin board for directions. You can now talk "live" to anyone in the country for FREE for as long as you like. You will need a microphone. Check it out.

6/23/06 - Re-created the House of Bamboo Bulletin Board (BBB) which self-destructed. Simplified it. This is the place that you can add your own content that others will see, ask questions and learn from others. You can talk about reunions, meetings, and get email addresses of members.

6/22/06 - A Reunion was held in Florida at Al Crane's House. For details and photos, go to the Bulletin Board. If you haven't registered, you need to do that when you get there. Then look at the FLORIDA REUNION section.

6/17/06 - Added the House of Bamboo Bulletin Board (BBB). It's great to re-live the past, but this new feature will allow us to live in the present as well as make plans for the future. I highly recommend that you go to the board, register and use it often. YOU MUST REGISTER FIRST to use the board. The link to get to it will be displayed on the hompage. You can get to it from here by clicking on the words, House of Bamboo Bulletin Board. * NOTE: I must approve your registration before you can use the board. This will prevent any outsiders from using our board!

6/16/06 - Added the FRIDAY NIGHT CARD GAME; an interactive and funny creation that should bring back memories to those who were in the house during those years. Even if was before your time, it's still quite funny. Check it out in the Miscellaneous section.

6/15/06 - If you are not hearing music on the jukebox pages it is most likely because of your browser. Update it to the latest version or try a different one. You should also have the quicktime plugin (something you should always have anyway. I've had no problems with the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Netscape.

6/14/06 - Moved Follies & Frolics Bits and Pieces into the Past Events Section from Miscellaneous.

6/13/06 - Changed music on "I Remember When" Page to "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield (suggested by Steve Rosen). I already was using House of the Rising Sun on the Guestbook Page

* Added a 6th page to Memories. Keep digging for old photos. That's what will keep this site growing. Also added two new profiles.

* Added beautiful framed photos when you click on any PICTURE in "The Present" section. It will take a while before all of them are done. Clicking on the NAME shows the original photo.

* Added this "News and Update" page so you will always be kept up-to-date with happenings and changes without having to receive tons of emails. Visit here often.

* Added music "House of the Rising Sun"; one of our favorite songs we sang on Friday nights to the "I Remember When" Page.

* I have been just been contacted by 4 "newly found" HOB members from the early 70's who found out about our website at a Bar Mitzvah they were attending.

* Cruise rates could be rising. Book now. Cancel at any time up to 3 months before cruise.
