At
an early age, I was engrossed watching my mother in
the kitchen. She was the ultimate entertainer when
it came to preparing delectable dishes for house
parties and family dinners, from delicious cakes to
finger foods. Watching her made me want to pursue
this as a career and have that same passion I saw
in her. I was raised as a military brat and had the
pleasure of traveling the world, learning many
different cuisines from other cultures.
Having
lived in Japan, I learned and trained under some
wonderful chefs who taught me their culture and
showed me the true art of culinary from design to
presentation.
I
graduated from Kubasaki University 1989 with a
degree in Culinary Art.
Vegas
here I come! Once I came to Vegas, I began at the
bottom, actually starting as a dishwasher, getting
my feet wet with dish soap. I never gave up my
dream. I started out networking and doing small
parties for friends. Everything took off from
there. So here I am still in Vegas in 2009. Where
did the years go? As the years went by, I became a
personal chef to the Vegas Stars; some quite famous
and some not so famous. I truly believe if you stay
focused on your dreams anyone can be a delectable
chef
.
